A near-catastrophe, an agent-powered rescue, and the AI video tools actually worth your time
⚠️ Incident Report
50 Million SHIP on a Compromised Wallet, Saved by an Agent

While moving ~50M SHIP into a long-term lockup, Trav discovered his Solana wallet had been compromised, another entity had control.
If they'd dumped, the chart goes to zero and every holder's trust with it. Trav follows standard practices, has been burned before, and still got hit. Attack vectors right now are multiplying faster than habits are updating.
The rescue: Q diagnosed the situation on-chain, then wrote a recovery prompt for Trav's Hermes agent.
The agent's first response set the tone: "Stop, do not give me your private key or seed phrase at any point." It ran the entire recovery locally through the terminal, keys never touched the internet, never entered the chat, verified both wallets on-machine, and moved the funds to a clean wallet. Tokens saved. Chart intact.
The three lessons, bluntly:
① Never hold a meaningful token supply on the machine that runs your agent and your daily browsing, the rule existed, the follow-through didn't.
② Knowing better isn't the same as doing better; complacency is the actual attack surface.
③ A well-configured agent can be the hero of a security incident, not just the risk, local-only execution with a hard "no secrets in chat" rule is the pattern to copy. Full post-mortem article coming from Trav.
Here’s a full breakdown of how Crypto Wallet attacks are changing in 2026.
AI video, and why it's worth your time at all

Video is the most pushed format on X right now, the founder-forward face-on-camera approach measurably outgrows faceless content, and Trav credits video for 10×ing his growth and completely changing his networking. If you're building a brand in 2026, video isn't optional, but AI just removed most of the excuses.
The cinematic-video meta, and the play that actually works: people love seeing their own face in good content. Make a high-quality AI cinematic video that features the people you want to connect with, community members, creators you admire, tag them, and they'll amplify it for you. A Solflare ambassador did exactly this with team and community faces ahead of Solana Breakpoint and it blew up. That's the community-building unlock hiding inside the meme format.
Preset apps mean you don't need to be a prompter anymore. On Higgsfield (powered by the Seedance 2.0 engine), Trav made a UFC-style fight scene starring himself with zero prompt, pick a preset, upload a face photo, choose resolution, generate. His two-sentence prompt turned a logo into a cinematic spaceship-orbit shot.
The alpha: Trav follows a lot of accounts and has seen almost nobody using these presets on the timeline yet. Early is early.
Q's pushback is the quality bar, don't skip it. His honest take on template content: if you use the same preset as a hundred thousand other people, you've added zero creativity and zero value. The presets are the gateway, use them to learn the workflow, then graduate to consistent characters, custom environments, and your own prompts. That's where differentiation lives. (This tension, speed vs. slop, is next week's full topic.)
The Figma Motion pattern: learn manually, unblock with the agent. Trav went from near-zero motion-graphics knowledge to a polished animated intro in seven days. The workflow that did it: build by hand to develop taste and vocabulary, and when you hit a wall, ask the built-in agent, "how do I make this circle fill like a progress bar?" → "can you do it for me?" A task that would've been 2.5 hours of YouTube tutorials and fumbling took five minutes. Then keep going manually. Skill compounds; the agent clears the blockers.
"You know what can go wrong, you still do it, it goes wrong — and then you don't learn the lesson. That's the most human security vulnerability there is."
