The Best Way to Find Airdrops 🚨

Focus is our most valuable asset.

In order to find potential Airdrops, it all starts narrowing that focus. This is where a tool by Santiment, called Sanbase, comes in.

This is a tool that delivers info about social sentiment, on chain data and market info to level up your crypto IQ.

From using their Social Tracker, I found that the Injective chain has been absolutely dominating. It’s been trending over the last few days. I was intrigued.

Now how about that Airdrop…

This is where DeFiLlama came into play. I. Love. This. App.

On the left under DeFi, they have an Airdrop section. Simply click, filter by chain, and see what pops up. I did this for Injective and I was certainly glad I did.

BlackPanther and Helix stood out as both of their TVL’s were > $1million, and their %Change were trending up. Time to investigate.

Confirming The Airdrop

Just because Airdrops are listed, doesn’t mean they’re actually happening. Here are the 3 ways you can figure this out.

1. Check out their Website: WARNING! - MAKE SURE IT’S THEIR OFFICIAL WEBSITE! Best way to do this is to go to CoinGecko, search the project, and find the official websites there.

2. Check their Socials: Check to see if there have been any recent announcements or directions about airdrops. X was great for this. Again, make sure that you only check official content from the team. There are fake announcements everywhere.

3. Join their Discord Community and ask: For Black Panther, they had a very clear message about their upcoming Airdrop, Helix did not. I was able to confirm this, with a team member, on their Discord Server.

Guide to the BlackPanther Airdrop📈

You always have to put in work to get paid. Airdrops are no different. And for BlackPanther, this certainly applied.

The two easiest ways to qualify for this airdrop are:

So let’s get into it.

Step 1: Get $INJ Tokens on the Injective Network

You can use MetaMask for this, but I wanted a more dedicated wallet.

I chose Keplr because it takes advantage of Injective’s incredible interoperability so you can easily move tokens around SO many different networks, easily AND cheaply. Here’s how we get and move $INJ:

1. If your CEX or DEX supports the Injective Network, simply swap a token for $INJ and send it to your Keplr Injective Address. Here’s how to find that👇

2. If your CEX or DEX does NOT support the Injective Network, like mine, it likely will support the Cosmos Network. So make sure it does, then swap for some $ATOM.

3. Send it to your Cosmos address on your Keplr Wallet. It’s lightning fast, dirt cheap and beats having to pay ETH gas fees.

4. In your Keplr Wallet, simply Swap you $ATOM for $INJ. It will automatically transfer it to the Injective Network for you, which is amazing.

5. If it doesn’t, you can bridge tokens here.

Alright, you have $INJ, now what?

Step 2: Staking Your $INJ on the Injective Hub

The amazing thing about this step is that it also makes you susceptible to any future drops by $INJ. (I’ll walk you through even more bonus steps soon).

1. Go to the Injective Hub.

2. Click on Staking on the left.

3. Search for the BlackPanther Validator (there was only one at this time).

4. Connect your Keplr Wallet on the top right.

5. Click Delegate Now and follow the simple steps to deposit your $INJ.

The beauty of this is that, on top of the potential airdrop, you will receive a 15% APR on your staked INJ.

Step 3: Depositing into BlackPanther’s Intelligent Vaults

This steps a bit more complicated. But it’s also awesome.

In a nutshell, these are like Yield Farm’s, but with programmed automatic trading bots to maximize your returns. To be honest, I don’t fully understand the specifics, but I decided that it was worth the risk to bring you the real Alpha. Read all about them here.

According to the team, you will be rewarded for with their Airdrop Token $BLACK, and also get what looks to be a pretty sweet Yield from your position. Here’s how to make it happen:

1. On the BlackPanther Dapp, click on Vaults and make your choice. I chose the INJ/USDT one because, damn… that APY though! Here is what each type means:

   1. Real Yield: basic yield farming with a single asset.

   2. Grid Trading: The less risky trading bot option compared to Trend Following, auto trades ranges, leveraging volatility.

   3. Trend Following: riskiest of the three. Bot that auto trades long or short positions with leverage.

2. Connect your wallet with $INJ tokens.

3. Enter how much $INJ tokens you want to deposit. If you chose a token pair, it will automatically swap half of these tokens into USDT for you (for very cheap), which is so helpful!

4. Click Deposit and it will transfer swap your $INJ, and change this into Vault Tokens.

5. You aren’t done yet! Make sure to click on the Stake tab to stake those Vault tokens into the Vault.

And you’re done! Monitor your position on the Dashboard tab, and you can collect your rewards and withdraw your funds, any time, by clicking on your position.

It will automatically swap your position back to $INJ so there is no risk of Impermanent Loss as far as I can tell.

Bonus Steps: Farming for $INJ 📈

The Injective Ambassador Program gives you more opportunity to receive $INJ tokens, future airdrops, merch, and early access.

You basically have to help spread awareness about Injective, through content, and you can level up.

And it all starts with the Injective Discord Server. Here’s is what you can do:

1. Join the Discord Server Here.

2. After you finish the verification step, give the server a browse to see what it’s like.

3. When you’re finished, click on the #early_access_roles tab, it will send you to their Guild site with tasks to complete so you can get Ninja Role (check out the picture below for the task list).

4. Head back to the #early_access_roles tab and click Join Injective. 

5. Once you get you Ninja Role, check out the #welcome-ninjas tab. Here they outline what you have to do to level up to Ninja Master.

If anything, this is a fascinating learning experience on how to build a community. The server is clean, supportive and fast to respond. The bonus of future airdrops and tokens is pretty awesome too.
